How is the overall support with the string sides? I expected to see a string back not a thong back. What do you recommend for sizing? Is medium truly a medium?

I guess that begs the question, does the thong make the body or does the body make the thong.  I suppose it is the right combination of both. Your comments make all of the hard work worth it. Thx! 

Yeah nice thong pic. And wow you ran along Lake Michigan when it's cold out. Props to you.

It was nearly 50 degrees so not too bad and I was dressed appropriately; especially underneath the running tights.

I tend to prefer wider straps on my thongs

I remember seeing those on the shelves at Macys!  What’s happened to the big underwear industry these days - i recall everyone making a thong then they backed off!

Good question. Calvin Klein, Jockey, 2xist, they all made great products years ago but have since kind of lost their way. In the 80s-90s, CK made great string/sport bikinis and they had one thong (more like g-string) but it honestly wasn't that great because the pouch had no support. They really hit it with the 'Body' line in microfiber/seamfree which is where this thong came from. I also had/have them in white, black, gray, navy blue, & red. Since then, I've not been impressed with the CK One, Body, or Mesh lines which also featured a thong. The pouch is the same, the thong is the same, no innovation, nothing that really fits great. Jockey lost there way a LONG time ago which is sad. And 2xist hasn't really done anything original since their first product line and everything since then has just been the same designs rehashed over and over again in new colors or materials. Thankfully, we have a lot of boutique brands that make excellent underwear products today and that are always creating new and unique products.

These came out in early 2000s and were definitley one of my favorites back then. Didn’t realize it matched my shoes until I went to the bathroom and looked down.

Sorry I don't have time to post a pic but I just had to profess my love of wearing thong underwear with my Lululemon pants. I have several styles from slim cut pants, to what they call joggers, and also running tights. I love the feeling of the material on my bare bum and wearing a thong with them is the greatest feeling. Plus, NO UNDERWEAR LINES! It kills me to see a guy (women too!) in the gym wearing any kind of underwear under pants that show underwear lines whether they are wearing trunks, boxers, briefs, etc. The other look that kills me is a pair of shorts over a pair of tights...good grief!
