Joe Snyder thongs would be my recommendation - light weight fabric and enough stretch to remain comfortable.

Agreed, their swim thongs from about 10 years ago were really superb but they seemed to stop making them unfortunately. I’m still a big fan of their underwear thongs and strings though.
That’s in amazing condition considering the age, the stitching looks really good too. They don’t make them like they used to.
I have done this in many places in Australia, many times over the thirty-odd years that I’ve been wearing thongs.
...... That's a stunning string bikini. HOM underwear is one of my favourite brands and I love their vintage stuff. Great that you still have it. How did you find it originally?
I'm not sure where I bought it. It is so long ago. I think it was somewhere in the south of France, maybe St Tropez. It was quite tight because the French sizing is different from the rest of Europe. I had to guess.
This is the tanga I could get away with when I was together with my partner. It is a HOM from 1980 with the old logo, a trident. It is still in good shape but it is now a tad tight. Maybe I expanded a little.
DA is like Covermale, they basically copied most of the Joe Snyder designs and i feel that JS has more stretchy/comfy fabric vs. DA
