So I need y’alls help picking a new thong. I am in need of a good / well made, thong that is also good for working out and running. I have my everyday comfortable thongs but am looking for something with more of a pouch style thong that holds everything out of the way a little bit. I still want to stay minimal, so no large waistbands and I prefer a smaller rear strap. Let me know what you suggest.

Bulge thongs. Joe Snyder or Muscleskins poser

I found these. Has anyone tried them? Any reviews?

A swim thong may be a bit more durable for working out and running maybe?

I am not a fan of the fabric of Daniel Alexander thongs. Not as stretchy/comfortable as other options from JS or Skinz

I really like the Tulio Lifter G-string and the Tulio power pouch slinky thong for working out. They are super comfortable, supportive and have a great pouch. I wore one for my workout yesterday.

Agee on the DA comment vs Skinz, Muscleskins or Joe Snyder. I wear JS and they’re great

So I ordered the JS bulge. Should be arriving tomorrow. Will take some pics when I get a chance and report back on my gym experience with them.
Thanks for the suggestions.

It's a bit of trial and error. If you want good support while working out, then a JS bulge would be a good choice. Personally, I'm not a big fan of the JS brand because I feel that theirs thongs are a bit tight fitting. My work-out thongs are quite roomy, and this roominess allows my junk and ass to breathe.

I'm a huge fan of the Skinz thong form jm.ca

Comfortable and soft enough to wear all day, but works great under workout clothes. I cant recommend this one enough and own about twelve of them. In my opinion, everyone here needs to try one of these. They last forever if you don't run them through the dryer if after you wash them. I have some that are over 10 years old.
-
I could not agree more. These are a great thong for all day including working out.
-
Agreed. I have a few pairs as well of those, the quality is amazing , as well the fit and comfort for all day , I think I’ll wear mine to work today.

I have like 5 JM thongs and they're great for the gym. I live in Canada and JM is a Canadian brand, so JM thongs are easy to get.

Just curious, do they sell these at retail stores in Canada? There was a store near me that used to sell them a long time ago, but the store closed over 10 years ago.
-
Yes they do. The Bay sometimes, Simons as well...and a few specialist stores in Montreal

My 3 go-to thongs for working out are the 2xist Yback, Ergowear, or sometimes JM Skinz. All are perfectly supportive in the pouch and crazy comfortable. If you can find the 2xist in their Sliq fabric, that's a tad better I find, it's a little smoother finish. Plus, if you like a thinner more string-like back, they have that. Let us know what you go with...maybe even SHOW us what you go with? Take care!

Joe Snyder thongs would be my recommendation - light weight fabric and enough stretch to remain comfortable.

100% agree. I usually work out in a JS bulge thong...great support, dries quickly etc

I decided on the JS bulge thongs for now. They have been really great especially on my runs. Attached are pictures from before when I got them and had not started losing my weight. I am down 15 pounds since the gym lockdowns started with 10 pounds left to go for my initial weight loss goal. I promised myself no pictures till I reach my goal.

Great choice and they look very smart on you. Good luck on achieving your next goal.
-
I would suggest trying a couple different styles and sizes. If you have never heard of them, I suggest Ergowear as a company. They have the x4d style thongs that might be what you would be interested in. I know for me I prefer the actual Max style thongs from them for working out. But that is just my personal liking.

Thongs are perfect for workout and running. I also used to wear a pouch thong for running and workout sessions, I found them very comfortable and supportive.

Just got done with my afternoon workout outside. Did my workout in the sun wearing my workout shoes and a muscleskin 3/8” thong. I will try to post a pic if my phone will stop giving me an error.
Completing a workout and working on your thong tan seem like they go hand in hand. Wish I would have discovered this long ago.

I agree with you. Bulge Thongs by Joe Snyder. I also like Daniel Alexander and Cover Male.

You have a big backyard, @gstring1986. I guess those trees give you enough cover.

Waking up this morning then getting a workout in JS bulge thong.
Being in this forum has encouraged me more in getting my body in good shape! [emoji6]

You look stunning in that...a body made for a thong :)

you could try the ergowear x4d thongs. but if js works for you then that is good. the js pouch is too small for me.
