For about 20 year I walk at beaches in a thong or gstring. I lived in Holland at the beginning and started in the north of France. the first two years were quite scary but at some moment you start to build up self confidence. At a certain point you will walk in a thong where it is legal without a problem. The only thing are kids. Parents can get hysterical when they see a guy in a thong walking around.
I moved to the USA and I hope to go to Sandy Hook, NJ, again as soon as the virus allows and the weather gets better. At Sandy Hook people are quite relaxed about men in thongs. After 20 year, it still gives me a thrill to walk around in next to nothing.

When I started about 10 years ago, I had trouble finding suppliers. I had a few but not the abundance as we see now. So I started to make my own. With the cheap influx of Chinese suits, it is not that economic anymore.

.....  Good point - question is how many people write about thong underwear (or anything non-beach/pool) vs. thong swimwear?

Underwear is a non-subject for me. Normally it is hidden under your clothes so nobody will see it and you can wear any style or form you like without consequences.
At the beach or any other public place among people is a different story.

This is the tanga I could get away with when I was together with my partner. It is a HOM from 1980 with the old logo, a trident. It is still in good shape but it is now a tad tight. Maybe I expanded a little.

I’m impressed with the bike ride!

I have thought of taking part in a World Naked Bike Ride event in a thong. I think it is actually a clothing optional event so, I fairly sure a thong would be fun and acceptable. The weather at last years London ride was terrible, I’d prefer somewhere a bit warmer and drier in Southern Europe.

I hope to be there again this year. It is quite an event with 2000+ riders.

Somewhere around 2000 I ordered my first set of thongs with Beachndanc (Dore Gabriel). I ordered 10 different models as it was my first buy of thong swim gear. When the order arrived, I wanted to try them on to see how it looked like. But those thongs were so tiny, I had no idea if they ever would fit. Seeing those tiny suits was also such a turn on that I needed more than 30 minutes to cool down before I could even think of trying them on. I was surprised that the fabric was stretchy enough to cover everything that needed to be covered.

With a second order I had again a rush but after that it slowly diminished. Now it is business as usual. 24/7 thongs as underwear and thongs and strings as beach wear.

Don't worry about hospitals and doctor visits. They have seen it all and worse. After all, a thong is just a piece of underwear. If you treat it that way, the rest of the world might see it the same way.

Who cares? As long as you don't break any laws, enjoy it.
