Log-in procedure not working correctly

Maybe it is just me but when I log in and select "forever", this forever last just as long as I stay on the forum.
Why is the forum not remembering forever? Is this a hick-up of the forum software? Has it something to do with cookies on my computer? More members affected?
Typing your name and password is not much work but it is so boring, especially when you know it could be automatic.

I would definitely make sure cookies are enabled.  What browser are you using?

I use Chrome. I will check the settings. This is the only forum/website with this problem.

I just checked. Cookies are not blocked, the forum is in my cookies list. I will try to reset them.
