Yesterday I switched it up and stayed in Santa Monica instead of going over to Venice and I rolled out my yoga Matt and did yoga in a pretty densely populated part of the beach, right below an active guard tower, in just my thong. It was a pretty awesome experience! I think I'll stay in Santa Monica from now on

And today I ran 10 miles from Santa Monica to MDR in just a thong! This is getting fun! I suspect this is how "that guy" gets started and I certainly don't want to become "that guy!"

i've gotten to where i go to the beach in the morning in santa monica at least once a week and work for an hour or so on my laptop in just my thong (i was there this morning!). its a great way to maintain and deepen my thong tan, enjoy nature and get some work done. i love having a flexible work schedule!
between that, swimming laps in the pool in just a thong and now running in what is more or less tantamount to a thong, i've definitely overcame my former reservedness about wearing thongs. at least until someone i know sees me, but until then!

yep. it's been a slow week at work so i go in about an hour late every day this week and put in an hour in the sun. i messed up my tan line in one spot on my hip though which i'm a little bummed about

i try to go 1-2 times a week in the morning after i drop off the family before i head into work. the best part isn't actually sitting at the beach, it's that i walk all the way back to the car in just a thong. that's where i get all of the looks.

Today may have been the first day that I actually saw people taking pictures of me in my thong. When I’m done sunbathing, I was back to my car in just a thong just to get some reactions and finally today was the subject of photos though no tweets that I could find.

At least those look like swimwear and not your normal underwear. Wearing underwear at the beach does nothing for progress. It just comes off as pervy. Wearing legitimate swimwear though conveys appropriate attire, albeit unconventional and likely not preferred by most. But it’s still at least swimwear designed for such activities and not some cotton AC thong that someone decided to strip down to.
I’m sorry, I know this sounds harsh. I just think people are wiser than we give them credit for and underwear is always seen as underwear. And swimwear is always seen as swimwear. With the exception of a few brand like Joe Snyder, which is actually both. 100% cotton underwear is never swimwear though and people can tell. Especially with large waistbands that are easy to identify and read.

I have a wife who wouldn’t be down with my public thonging and I’d rather not have to explain why I’ve started wearing swimwear as underwear. She’s wiser than that as well and I’m a bit more concerned about her than strangers. I share here and on Instagram as I figure there’s some people here who might take interest in others thonging. The distinction is pretty arbitrary in my mind but can limit shares to only thongs that could pass for swimwear if preferred.

Just depends on the weather, but I like to get there twice a week to tan in thongs. I’m screwing up my tan line bc at the suggestion of another member I’m wearing more swimsuit style thongs which tend to not be as wide in the back.

Most of you don't seem to react to my posting thong pics, which is kind of a bummer since i was hoping this forum would be encouraging and that my posts might even get a few others to brazenly wear thongs in environments they otherwise wouldn't. I'd love words of encouragement if this is at all interesting to you.
I was probably the most daring I've ever been today, walking & biking through very densely populated parts of the Santa Monica/Venice boardwalk area and definitely got more comments, snickers and snapped photos for it. I like to get down there by ~9:30 and hang out for 1-1.5 hrs and get a little work done before heading in to the office. My 2 favorite spots are off of the mini boardwalks near Tower 20 or the one next to Perrys at the base of Arizona
Let me know if you're interested. I wouldn't be able to hang after, but it'd be fun to have a thonging beach buddy for a day

I've been back to the beach in Santa Monica for the last 3 days. Come join me some time.
I would love to but it is 40 hours of driving away instead of 2 hours to Sandy Hook. ;)

Damn! My closest “thong tolerant” beach is maybe 5 miles from my house (so like 20 minutes with city traffic) and I rarely go! I’d rather stay home and lay out on my top floor terrace. I sound super lazy in comparison now!

Hey man, you should be more appreciative of what you have. I would love to lay out on a rooftop terrace for free. There is this rooftop terrace that I go to, but I have to pay $10 every time

Thanks! I just wish it'd warm up and the sun would come out so I can get back to the beach. Early spring is usually the best time here in SoCal but its been so cold! :(
