I recommend "Muscleskins.com". Their 'poser' with a narrow pouch, standard depth and 1/2 inch sides works well for me. Lots of fabric choices, colors and all are customizable. They seem to be pretty well made and prices are reasonable. Good luck.

Honestly, I don't even think about it anymore. It's not an issue for me; whether people know I'm wearing a thong or not.

Basic black is always useful. Depending on the beach I also enjoy some of the brighter colors......red, yellow, green, even a bright orange depending on my mood.

Thongs.....yes!! Swim thongs and underwear exclusively for a couple of years. I prefer thongs with a narrow pouch that don't bunch up. Currently in N.C.

Muscleskins thongs are a particular favorite. Very easy to customize for a perfect fit. The "poser" style with a narrow pouch works really well. The website is temporarily unavailable while they update their collection and styles and fabrics. Should be back up soon I hope.

I've been wearing thongs 99% of the time for about 10 years. They're second nature now although I still have a few bikini briefs left i haven't thrown out. (For Dr.'s appointments).

I'm "mostly" straight and have been wearing thongs almost exclusively for a few years. I have no problem appreciating thongs on another guy with a nice tight rear.

For the beach I usually prefer about 12 noon to around 3:30 -4:00. For laying out on the back deck it's about the same.
