General Discussion / Re: Thong Related New Years Resolutions!

Good posts, I guess if I were to add a #4, it'd be make other thong-wearing friends :) Obviously, and thankfully, many women I know fit the bill, but no men that I know of.

I think it may be a case of rather than bringing the mountain to Muhammed, Muhammed must go to the mountain - make queer and or open minded pals who are up to explore.

General Discussion / Thong Related New Years Resolutions!
« on: January 01, 2021, 12:20:29 PM »
Does anyone else have any? Or is anyone interested in trying to achieve some in 2021?

For me, much like everyone else, many of my best laid plans were cast aside in 2020, and thus I'm personally redoubling my efforts in all facets of life to achieve my goals. Pertinent to here, I have several thong-related resolutions I'd like to achieve:

1. Wear a thong 365 days this year. This means every day, every situation. No more shirking for the gym, or a date, or the doctor. Stop fearing discovery or associated shame. Just because men wearing thongs is uncommon doesn't make it wrong or embarrassing. Focus on the positive and adventurous nature of it, and stop living in past fears and trepidations. You may ask why this is important to me? Well as someone who's gone through various binge/purge cycles with this interest, getting to a healthier, normalized place with it is important - my interest in thong wearing is never going to go away.

2. Achieve a thong tanline. Blessed to live near the beach, including a nude one. Need to take advantage and get some sun on my cheeks. I think what I love the most about that tanline is its unmistakable nature - no one doubts what was the cause for it. I think if I'm branded so I'll be able to commit to number one more easily, as its clear as day to all who see that I wear thongs, so I might as well just wear my thongs :)!

3. Start sharing photos online. Own it and flaunt it. I'm fortunate to have a shapely bottom and I think it'd do a world of good for my self-esteem to receive positive feedback from it. Who knows maybe even be a pathway to meet someone! Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

How about you all!?

Love it. When I was there I was not as brave (it is also known as Tamagringo after all) but did see several women in thongs. Sounds like I need to return for some cheeky sun :)!

I find that women’s CK Thongs, particularly the CK One style are good. Sizing can be tricky but M for my 30inch waist is a reasonable compromise. Cotton is best - the lace or nylon fabrics rub in all the wrong places.

Same - that's another terrific brand of higher quality and good crotch space. I have a slightly bigger waist and a bit of a bubble butt so I tend to go with an L in their sizes.

Hi all,

Glad to find this space :) Certainly makes me feel good knowing I'm not the only one who has such strong feelings and affinity towards the thong.

I'm in my early 30s, straight, currently single and bounce between places in SF and SoCal owing to great work flexibility (plus an office closed since this whole pandemic began). It's perhaps not entirely coincidental that with greater freedom of movement I found myself more willing to commit to exclusively wearing thongs. Realizing my geographic limits were artificial made me realize other limitations were probably not real either and I should feel free to dress as I'd like. I made the commitment to switch at the beginning of last year, and have not looked back.

Perhaps differently than many here, most of my thongs are women's panties. While I have some men's Armani and John Sievers thongs, to me, the advantages panties offer are numerous; the variety of fabrics, colors and cuts, the lower cost, and the extra level of naughtiness which just works for me mentally. I find many thongs designed for men ore preoccupied with bulge enhancement than I personally am - no shade, just to each their own and the cock-sock look doesn't do it for me. Obviously not all women's panties work well with male anatomy, but several brands are excellent fits, and I'm happy to share more there.

My current fun challenge is to summon the courage to thong outside, and get that delightful tan line. My more serious one is to summon the courage to share this part of me with a partner unapologetically. Definitely have hid it in the past and that's not really working for me on a long-term scale; curious to hear from others that have gotten over that hump.

Anyhow - glad to have joined and look forward to reading and contributing.

Alex
