Embarassing Moments / Re: Laundry

Mine got wrapped into my daughters school sheets for her preschool and the teacher had no misconception that it was a woman’s thong. It was definitely a mens thong. It was a funny convo.

Questions and Opinions / Re: Is it safe to workout (legs) in thongs?

Thongs are the only thing I wear now so gotten used to it. I suppose if you're not quite used to it or using material that's got a bit of tautness to it it might causing some discomfort. I'd say try using g-strings like HOM plumes or ones where it's more so a g-string but has a little triangle in the back rather than straight string.

Those are not only mostly unnoticeable but feel like wearing almost nothing while still providing support and holding everything in place.

My current sister-in-law came across my department store thongs in the wash and asked my gf, her sister, if they were mine. That was the first time anyone apart from my previous gf's have known I wear thongs. Now I'm at a point where someone seeing me in a thong like during a massage, or anywhere else is such a turn off. The excitement's all gone now as I've gotten older and wear thong swimwear at the local pool.

Recently while doing laundry in the local machine for the apartment building I'm living in, I was going back up to take it out to put it into the dryer. The girl who lives next door was taking my laundry out and I came up behind her. She didn't hear me so I was like oh I'll take it. She definitely seen most of the thongs in the wash.

I just got home from my gym workout. Every day I’m in the gym I do a fairly intense leg routine. I wear a thong under my leggings and have for years. The only time I’ve ever had discomfort is when the size of the thong was not correct for my body. This usually means the rear strap is too short. Otherwise I find a thing the most comfortable thing for me to wear while in the gym.

Questions and Opinions / Is it safe to workout (legs) in thongs?
« Last post by explorer on May 05, 2023, 07:08:24 AM »
Hi. I usually wear jockstraps when working out. Recently, I started wearing thongs during workouts. It was legs day yesterday that included squats, sumo squats, lunges, split squats, etc. Afte the workout, I felt thong strap went too deep and made the area sore due to a lot of friction.

I have now decided to not wear thongs during leg workouts.

I'd like to know if it was a stupid move to try working out in thongs? Do you guys do legs workout in things?

Questions and Opinions / Re: Favorite Brand?

My favorite brands are: HOM and Olaf Benz.

HOM: the Plume line is extremely comfortable (but not tactile) so it's great for lounging at home, sleeping and wearing under loose clothing when it's hot. It's very sexy, almost like lingerie for men but with a clean masculine look. The plume strings are probably one of my favorite thongs to wear. Although I enjoyed the Freddy string growing up, I've fallen out of love with the new production as the string back tends to get frayed quite easily. I've also come to prefer synthetic materials over cotton these days for thongs.

Olaf Benz: I simply adore Olaf Benz because the designs are clean, tactile and conservative. Their phantom range is my favorite and I'm wearing the mini string phantom as we speak. The phantom mini string is very tactile, fits everything properly and looks pretty cool. Although pricey, I find the quality to be very good and they keep their shape if you use a laundry bag. If you're ever in Chemnitz Germany, they have an outlet store for Olaf Benz/Manstore where you can get them for much cheaper than any online retail store!

I generally prefer conservative cuts, style sand colors to match with the clothing I'm wearing.

Questions and Opinions / Re: Question for those who don't wear a thong everyday
« Last post by xzate08 on May 03, 2023, 04:26:52 PM »
I don't wear them everyday although I would like to, to be honest.

Most of the time it has to do with practicality, if I'm going to be moving around moving things and such I would prefer wearing briefs/bikinis so that when I bend over I don't reveal anything. Other times, if I'm on a trip with family and I need to wash my underwear in the sink, I won't be wearing thongs. When I go to work at the office I generally don't wear them because I'm always thinking "what if they're not comfortable all day?"

To be honest, even though I've been interested in thongs and wearing them since I was in high school, I haven't quite been able to just wear them as regular underwear when I go out. I mostly wear them at home or when I'm on vacation somewhere hot.

That's a shame to hear!

I went to Malaysia in 2019 and bought three of the first one! I couldn't find the other lines which is a shame because I was looking at quite a few stores in KL.

HOM is one of my favorite brands, I love their plume micro briefs and strings at the moment.

I first started liking them because of the Freddy String as I purchased them in Japan (I was living there for awhile) which are sadly no longer available anymore so I stocked up on them and have a bunch of unworn ones with me now. The quality was really good and lasted me a year or more of regular wear. (They probably would have lasted longer if I put them in a laundry bag)

Now, these ones from HOM Europe aren't so great as the string tends to fray really, really easily. I didn't have that issue with the Japan version of this string so it's quite disappointing.

While I was obsessed with the Freddy for the longest time, I pretty much ignored the plume line because I found it less than tactile when wearing. I discovered wearing a smaller size made it more comfortable for me and now the plumes are what I generally wear to sleep.
