I’m still working from home most of the time. Now that the weather has improved a bit here in the UK, I’ve been thonging on Zoom meetings with a dressed upper body. It’s quite fun and definitely makes the day more enjoyable.

I’ve been working from home since last March for obvious reasons. During one of the really hot and humid spells we had in the UK last year, I tended to work in just a thong. I can have the front door open too as I’m at the end of a very quiet street. The only thing I didn’t consider after I got up from my desk to potter about was the possibility of the postman delivering some letters and packages. Anyway, he saw me as he placed a delivery just inside the front door. He didn’t seem phased by it at all and we always have a friendly chat whenever we see each other.

Welcome Jon, you may have a bit of a wait for warmer weather! I think all the UK members are with you on that. Wearing a thong on the beach is a great feeling, you won’t regret it and you’ll want to do it again after that first experience.

That’s different but I actually quite like it. You could wear that in places where you may not feel comfortable in a regular thong. It would be interesting to see what reactions or conversations you might have.

Let’s hope for some decent early weather next year so we can thong outside. I think travel to the beautiful beaches of the Mediterranean isn’t going to be easy next year sadly.

I’m very partial to a g-string, particularly in hot weather. I do find that some which I have can give me a small amount of irritation at the T where the string back meets the waistband. This only occurs after a few days of solid wearing with certain strings which, I assume is probably due to the material. I’ve never had it with thongs.

I’m another Olaf Benz Sunstring fan. They don’t have the drawstring but I’ve never had any issues while swimming or in fairly rough seas. I find them very comfortable and well made too.

I just throw mine away too, particularly when the material has lost it’s elasticity. I’ve never thought about cutting them off with scissors but it certainly has an act of finality about it.
