Thanks for everyone's input! The more I look the more I think I should just spend the money on a Charlie Swim Thong. I wonder if they will have a sale soon.
Do it! I am actually looking to get their swim thong as well. I think there will a sale near the end of November for Black Friday. Not sure if that is soon enough for you though.

Good plan. Will see what happens closer to Black Friday.
@thongnz Not sure if you saw it, but Charlie by MZ is having a sale right now. I just picked up a swim thong myself.

Questions and Opinions / Re: What's the difference...joe synder.

The difference is that is makes your goods bulge more but lifting it up and out. The pouch is more snug and sometimes smaller. So if you're on the bigger side it might not be as accommodating or comfortable. Some people complain about that issue. Personally most of my JS Bulge thongs fit well but Joe Snyder are notorious for consistency in manufacturing and some of my bulge thongs are too small or uncomfortable for me. I'm of average size I think.

I have one JS03 (non bulge) and 7 or 8 JS02 (bulge). I'm thinking of getting some JS03 polyester for sunbathing in. I think the JS03 is probably less showy and better for sunbathing and swimming in than a JS02 (bulge).

They're all on sale right now on joe-snyder.us. About 40% off!

I just receive a couple thongs from Timoteo. They are the Capri Swim Thong. They remind me of the Speedo design thongs of old. The front has about similar coverage as the Speedo ones and the back is a more conservative thong. The suit is lined with a black layer. I think they would be good for lap swims.
Ah those look nice. Doesn't look like they sell them anymore. It would make a good suit if the back was a bit skimpier.

I really like my Olaf Benz swim thong. They are not too flashy and the cut is great. https://www.deadgoodundies.com/olaf-benz-blu-1200-sun-string

Hi everyone. Just want to see what people have for swim thongs (thongs made for swimming/beach). There are a few out there I'm looking at. I'm wanting something that looks like a speedo style and nothing that too flashy (e.g. bulge pouch).

The only thong I own that is actually a swim thong is a Desmiit swim thong in light blue. I've been looking around and the Charlie by MZ Swim Thong (https://www.charliebymz.com/products/swim-thong) looks like exactly what I want with the speedo style front. I'm also looking at Rick Majors Low Rise Swim Thong (http://www.internationaljock.com/rick-majors-low-rise-swim-thong-lemon-lime,63017.html), Gregg Homme Caliente Swim Thong (http://www.internationaljock.com/gregg-homme-caliente-swim-thong-grey,48776.html), Joe Snyder Polyester JS03 (https://joe-snyder.us/joe-snyder-polyester-thong) and N2N Bright Brushed Thong (https://n2nbodywear.com/collections/thongs-jocks/products/nt20-bright-brushed-thong).

I would say the Charlie and N2N are the least bulge/flashy. If Charlie was cheaper I would buy it straight away but it's quite a lot.

Any one have any other recommendations or own any of these so they can review?

Questions and Opinions / Re: Thongs and tights...
« on: October 12, 2020, 09:19:01 PM »
I’ve finally taken to running with just tights and shirt/singlet.  I got dressed normally then thought screw it... went out and asked my husband if it was ‘dicky’...  He replied, “who cares, plus I like what I see”.  So done, no more shorts over tights, it feels so much better.
Good on ya. I started running without shorts over my tights for half a year now. You soon realise that the majority of people don’t even notice because you’re running past them. Some people look but I’ve not had anyone say anything to me.

Not a fan of some of the newer JS thongs.  I don't understand why its so difficult to make a stretchy fabric thong. The polyester thong has almost no stretch and the pouches are so small.  I wish they would expand on what they already have in more colors and patterns. Seems pretty simple.
JS thongs are my go to thong for the beach. I never wear them as daily wear.  They just run too small.  I love the maxi bulge and standard thong.
I keep saying i'm going to buy a couple machines and make my own thongs.

I agree they should keep with the nylon/spandex material and just add more colours and patterns.

To add to the review for the holes bulge thong. I went for a run with them on under my tights and they are almost abrasive so I don't recommend them for being active in. I thought they would be good because of breathability.  Also worse if you are circumcised because of the abrasiveness.

So they finally arrived a couple of days ago. First thing I noticed other than the bright colour is how consistent they are. I've had problems in the past where the pouch size and strap widths vary between each pair I have (biggest problem with Joe Snyder).

I usually get a small and the pouch of these are quite a bit smaller than the usual. As expected the polymide hole material is not as stretchy as the nylon based thongs so they are quite a bit more rigid. I'm no means large in kit but it's a real squeeze to get everything into the pouch. I just don't quite fit but because of how much I fill them the bulge is really outward and prominent.

So far I'm not sure about these. I like the colours. They're nice and bright. The holes are also quite a bit bigger than I thought they would be. You wouldn't want to tan in these because you'd get an odd tan line.

Hoping to get some photos soon to show you what they're like.

General Discussion / Re: Workouts other than Gym?
« on: August 22, 2020, 09:39:31 PM »
My rule is, if I’m active then I’ll wear a thong. I run after work so on those days I’ll wear a thong all day and then change into my tights with a thong under it. When running with people from work I’ll wear shorts over the tights but when I run by myself I just wear a t shirt, shoes and tights with a thong underneath. I went skiing recently and I’ll wear a thong and thermals under my ski pants. Hiking or long walks I’ll wear a thong. So if I’m active, always a thong. Also always a JS Bulge thong.

Yeah they are quite inconsistent. My most comfortable is one of my black ones and my camo one. I don’t think they sell the camo ones anymore which is sad because I would like another pair.
