I know there are others on here that have approached the topic with their SO and have sat down and picked out thongs together. This may be an option if you don’t think your wife will go for it right away. It brings her into it and gives you an idea of what her preferences are.

It’s great to find a beach where you can feel free to be yourself and wear what you want. I am happy that here in Maryland, we can wear thongs on state park beaches.

I have worn JS thongs in the past. For this year I bought several skinzwear thongs. 2 StuffIt thongs and two regular. I don’t remember the model numbers. Both are appropriate as long as they are in darker colors.

I am a police officer and I wear a thong/g string almost daily. If I am not wearing a thong I am commando. I don’t flaunt it but I also do not hide when I get changed. Nobody has ever said anything about it.

« on: September 13, 2020, 01:17:55 PM »I’d like to hear from everyone here who wear cycling pants if you wear a thong or g-string underneath or going commando.I do not wear anything under my bib shorts or pants. I have found that anything under can cause rubbing or a pressure point. I agree with the other advice, don’t wear underwear or any kind under bike shorts.
I started wearing cycling pants for the last few days since it’s more comfortable for longer rides and I always wore thong under the pants.
From what I’ve read that you shouldn’t wear anything cause it does not serve the purpose of the padding and might cause chafing from underwear.

Congrats and I know the feeling of even a small bikini feeling like way too much now. I have been a full time thonger for a little while now. I still have bikini and a few trunks tucked away in a dresser that I rarely, if ever use. I do not suggest throwing everything away immediately but I do recommend buying enough thongs that are good all day thongs. If you have plenty, it relieves you of the excuse of running out of thongs to go back to the other underwear. As far as the gym goes, I had the same fear when I started going to the gym in a thong. Trust me, nobody there cares. Most people won’t even know you are there unless you are trying to flaunt yourself.

I have done hiking in a thong. The wife and I went for a trail hike along the Shenandoah Trail. We were the only car parked at the trail head and once we got into the hike and hadn’t seen anyone else, I stripped down to my thong and boots. She stripped down to a bikini later on. We went the entire hike without seeing anyone else so it wasn’t exciting in that sense. The hike was cool and relaxing in the mountains.

I love hearing these stories. The more I wear my thong swimwear to the beach, the more I notice that I seem to have more concern with it than others. I have had nothing but polite conversations and compliments. If people choose to snicker, take pictures or otherwise take notice, they tend to not approach me about it.
