I know I shouldnt be embarrassed as all of you are also avid thong wearers but I really only started recently. Can I get your comments if it makes me look fat?
They're some very nice modal thongs I bought from a chinese company on our online store in the Philippines. So far they're my favorite thongs because
(1) The fabric is soft and almost cottony
(2) Its really doesnt cover much of the groin area which i like
(3) Not sheer
(4) Sporty look with a somewhat flat pouch (not really endowed)

Im super LGBT friendly even if I am straight and married. I like seeing people's confidence in wearing revealing undies/swimwear. I have very little confidence that I find the need to always write "No homo" when admiring someone else in a thong (Im not even confident enough to say guys look great in thongs). Guess I've only started trying them on regularly when my wife said they look great on me. That being said, Catholic philippines really stigmatized underwear to genders so badly that you cant even buy thongs here anymore (they used to sell a garterized thong-gstring hybrid in a local garment store but not anymore. That being said I am still so astounded how curvy guys have the guts to wear thongs, especially older curvier men from Europe or the Americas. I envy you and the likes of kiyoothong and ncthong.

Like you said not many guys that fall in the plus size group wear them. I think one reason is because it's hard to find a pair that truly fits us in all area like the waist and pouch.
I think all body types should be able to wear any kind of underwear. I personally do get self conscious about how I look, but that is how I have been growing up. Always been bigger than my classmates.

Probably a very strange question but I really want to get the side of "healthier" men who wear thongs. I'm sure everywhere and especially in the Philippines, larger men are stigmatized as "disgusting" for wearing revealing underwear/swimwear. I actually find it extremely sexy for them to wear something like that. I just want to know what motivates them to do so?
Is it the freeing/cooling effect of thongs or is it because it gives the bum and legs more freedom to move? Or is it purely an aesthetic thing or a fashion statement?

After finding a XL thong, I went to the cash to make my purchase. There was a line at the register and I only had the thong in my hand. I didn't want to look like a pervert, so I got some heart stickers and chocolate and I tried to act as though I was buying these things for Valentine's. There were two cashiers at the counter, and fortunately I got served by a female cashier. She took my things one by one and didn't even blink an eye.

I live in the Philippines but ethnically I'm Chinese. I have a very childlike (maybe 14 year old kid's body) but masculine frame, short and average weight. When I got my own credit card when I was working, I started buying from Aliexpress and tried them on my own. Now that my wife accepts it and even finds it very enticing and sexy, I guess I'm one of you guys now. I just have a lot of questions like for manscaping and where to buy certain kinds of thongs. I dont normally wear them to work or anything like that. Mostly to the gym because of the support and in the bedroom for... stuff.
