General Discussion / Registration Announcement (using my yahoo email for registration)

Howdy,
I've been rather ill this year - my apologies for dropping the ball on registrations. Part of the blame falls on my hosting service becoming evermore ridiculous leading me to refuse to use their email system.
Any who - as all of this (eventually) gets sorted - I've decided to use my yahoo email as part of the registration process. After registering you'll then receive an email from felis.silvestris@yahoo.com asking why you'd like to join the Men's Thong Forum and why you enjoy wearing thong underwear. This step is largely about weeding out a tremendous amount SPAM bots.

I’m quite happy with my most recent purchase of JOR thongs. The yellow and pinkish color are the new ones. The back is an old one. They’re all size small - but the newer ones are a tad more roomy and that is appreciated.

This forum is here as a service and also to help bring awareness to others on the topic of men wearing thong underwear (or swimsuits) made for men. First and foremost, we are here to support each other. Even though this forum is common ground for all of us who have joined - we may have differing opinions about male thongs. We all have our preference for a given style of thong, color, and/or activity. But, don't go out of your way with a hypocritical or unnecessarily judgmental post directed at someone's thong choice. How is that any different compared to the outside world judging us simply because we like to wear thongs? This forum is here for the opposite reason. Please be mindful when posting.

Okay, so let's say that you wear man-thongs regularly and enjoy it. Outside of forums or social media do you know anyone in real life, like a friend, colleague or acquaintance, who wears man-thongs? If you began wearing thongs in high school did you also know another high school student doing the same? What about college? Work?
I don't believe I've run into a fellow man-thonger myself, not yet anyway, but I did catch a glimpse of a guy wearing a jockstrap in the locker room at the local gym. I assumed his preference wasn't related to sports being that this was just a mainstream gym. And, although, I didn't know him I mentally count this as a possible acquaintance being that we frequented the same gym.

Embarassing Moments / The Maid

The title almost comes off as pornographic - but I assure you - this moment was far from that.
I was upstairs sleeping and had just woken up when I heard a strange noise - sort of like a scraping sound. I had thought a possum or raccoon had gotten into the kitchen. So, I start walking downstairs with just my thong. As I descended I made a bit of noise to help scare off any animals that might have made their way into my kitchen. Then I saw the maid's dust pan in the hallway. I had forgotten that it was cleaning day and the maid had let herself in - as she always does. She was in the kitchen cleaning away and I was around the corner in my skimpy thong. Whoops!
I remember popping my head out around the wall so that the rest of my body could not be seen and saying something to her about how I was surprised or forgot that she was coming to clean today. Then, I quickly scurried upstairs to put on a pair of pants.
So, it wasn't embarrassing - more like a near miss. And, had she seen me like that it probably would have come off as some creepy sexual advance. That would have made me feel horrible. So, yeah, that was damn close!

Okay, so how many among us have no qualms with disclosing - to anyone - your man-thong preference? Said another way, are you out of the closet when it comes to your preference for wearing thongs for men?

General Discussion / freshpair.com not selling men's thongs anymore

I've been purchasing man-thongs from freshpair.com since 2009. Today, I decided to browse their site to see what was new. They had one thong available - and that was it. It looks like freshpair.com may be getting out of the business of selling men's thongs. What a bummer. I've really enjoyed that place for many years.
