I love Jockey thongs - definitely up there as one of my go to everyday thongs to wear. Like others have said, the material is so soft and lightweight. I tend to wear fuller traditional cut thongs rather than micro or bulge styles so they are perfect for me.

I bought a good few many years back and they have served me well - would love to pick up more but Jockey don't sell them in the UK so not as easy to get hold of!

Welcome! Good to see you are in the UK too like me.

I love HOM plume strings - they are so lightweight you feel like you're wearing a thing.

Joe Snyder is a great choice for the beach - hopefully you can get out in one this summer!

General Discussion / Re: Why do I like to wear thongs?
« on: January 22, 2021, 06:47:26 AM »
It's a really unique feeling. Often others think thongs would be really uncomfortable to wear but if you get the right sizing I find they are the most comfortable form of underwear.

I love the feeling of the of the sides on my hips and the how from time to time I can feel the back of the thong as I walk around.

Lovely, thanks Dan, very helpful to hear your experience and thoughts. Yes it does get busy doesn't it... if you haven't managed to get there early enough then maybe it can be helpful in a way, because at least then you have a crowd around rather than being the only thing for people to see! Don't know if I'd prefer to be the only one on the beach, or hidden in a sea of people.

Good point - either way works depending what you feel most comfortable with.

You see I have no problem going nude on the naturist beach, but I'm pretty awkward talking to new people (go figure) so as long as "questions" aren't constant then it seems like it should be ok. That's why this helps :)

Same here! I always tell myself it makes no sense I feel more conscious in a thong in public than I do naked!

Great collection of suits - they really suit you.

That last water effect suit is very similar to one I have from Prevail Sport which I love to wear too.

I've also worn my swim thong at Studland although I just wore it for sunbathing there and swam nude.

Thongdan, when you went to Studland, did you walk onto the main beach with it on, or absolutely just keep it to laying down on the clothing optional part? Did people react much? Studland is my closest beach and I find it hard to place what people would think there because it's in a very conservative area of the country, yet it has a nudist beach. And it looks like there aren't any quiet places if it's in good weather. If possible it would be much less hassle to just wear the thing straight from the car to the c/o beach and onto the main beach if I need to be there. If only thongs were more common with women there then it wouldn't stand out so much.

I just wore it on and off in the naturist part of the beach. I got there early so found a nice spot and sunbathed with it on - I didn't see anyone else react and would be surprised if the did.

Wearing it straight from the car would be amazing and I think I'd feel comfortable doing this if I arrived again early when there were fewer people around. The beach gets really busy on a nice summer's day. I think your best bet if you were planning to wear the thong the whole time would be to find a spot inbetween the clothed and naturist part. That way you shouldn't cause too much dismay!

Welcome - great that you have been wearing thongs for so long and have built up quite a collection! Look forward to hearing more about them all in the future.

That sounds like a great time spent relaxing! There's something so comforting about being able to relax at home in a favourite thong rather than it just being something you wear as underwear underneath clothes. I don't do it enough!

Always down for me - for comfort and aesthetic of having that bulge shape

Not tried this style before. The body thongs I have in my collection are all the other style with the much higher cut. How does the actual thong part feel?

Yeah I have no idea. [emoji2371]I must say though... now that I gotten a chance to try their swim thong, the fit and cut is impeccable. It is now my favorite swim thong.

Which did you end up getting?

Not heard of this brand before but looks like they have some really nice thongs! I like the range they have going from the conservative fuller cut (more my style) to the strings.

Agree that they could be photographed better - the models are great but some of the suits are not fitting as well as they could.

I also love the look of that one piece body thong!

Embarassing Moments / Re: Changing room thong
« on: November 11, 2020, 03:50:25 AM »
I’ve been wearing thong under my leggings at the gym for years. I change to swim and to go to the office after. I always wear a thong and have changed from one thong to another at the gym locker room. I have never had a comment from anyone. Pretty much I think people are focused on themselves and what they are doing. I just wish my gym would allow thong swimwear, but alas no.

Completely agree with this. Even if others do notice, they are highly unlikely to take offence or make a comment. A thong is a form of underwear after all. I need to keep telling myself this!

I also don't think it's a gay thing - thongs are worn by men regardless of their sexual orientation.

And yes, it would be incredible if it was acceptable for men to wear swim thongs for the pool!
