Here are some pictures of Dore Gabriels (Beachndance) suites when I was for the last time on the Dutch beaches. The #1 and #2 I bought around 2000 and they are still in good condition.

Wow, you've had those thongs since 2000. What do you do to keep them in good condition?

First of all, the quality of the fabric and stitching was outstanding. I don't go to swimming pools so no chlorine. Also no sun blocker. I wash them by hand in warm water and a little handsoap. Nothing else touches the suits but my body, seawater and some handsoap.
I still have a string bikini from HOM from 1980 and it is still in good shape. It is a little tight now but that is me.  ;)
