oOoooohhh costa rica is a beautiful country, its on my list of places to visit! 
might bump it up a bit if it's thong friendly!!!
I'm not sure if calling it thong friendly... It's very conservative and you wonīt find other guys wearing them at the beach, you might feel a bit expossed, but I've had no troubles so far and I am talking about the main beaches, people doesn't mind. Or if you like more quiet places, there are a lot of lonely beaches too, usually itīs just a matter of walking a bit further and there will be less and less people. But where's the fun in that? In any case, it's easy to find a place you will feel 100% comfortable without having to go far away.
