In this clip of Shreck 2 Pinocho's friends bully him because he's wearing a thong. Despite the suposed age of that character is too young to wear thongs (in my opinion), I'd tell him he doesn't have to hear them and wear what he likes and wants.

Shreck is a very funny film but that scene reproduces the hateful prejudice about men and thongs.

I remember this when the film came out, I can't really agree that his friends bullied him, they joked with him but did not ostrosize him, they accepted his choice of underwear and are all still friends knowing that he wears thongs, girls or otherwise..
It's good to know we have thong wearing males in the film industry..
