I ran a half marathon today. I wore running tights and just the thong underneath. It was 40 degrees outside so it worked. No discomfort. Forgot it was there at times.

I wore new balance tech running right, the ones with the zippers. And the joe snyder polyester thong. Very nice feeling.

This is something that I need to try.

I've got plenty of thongs, but what leggings would you all recommend?  Looking for extreme comfort.  There are tons listed on amazon and have never bought a pair.  Do the ones with a vertical front seam and a seam up the seat fit better?

It depends on what they will be used for. I tend to like the tech tights, they are the ones that usually have one tiny little zippered pocket and zippers near the ankles to get you feet through easier. These types are usually more expensive but better built. There about $60-80 a pair. But you can get them used for as low as $20 on ebay or mercari.

Summer I will wear a half tight.....which also has a zippered pocket.

If you are wearing shorts over them or just in the comfort of your own home...any pair will honestly work.

The ones I am wearing are from https://jeffrey-scott.net.  They are cotton jersey fabric. SO comfy!!!

His design don’t have seams on the outside and are the only ones I’ve ever see that have an inseam longer than 28 inches.

p.s. also check the size of your thighs when choosing a size.

I was always wearing tights while running. That is the most comfortable. With some of the thin tights you might, depending on the light, indeed see my thong, but it never bothered me. Unfortunately I had to stop running due to an injury. I wear nowadays tights at home for my exercises.

I have a few tights and I only wear them when I go to the gym. I also have a pair of white leggings at home, but they're quite see through and I don't have the courage to wear them out in public.

As long as they aren’t sheer (i.e. hosiery or stockings) a white or skin-tone thong would barely be noticed.

My wife has a couple Lululemon tights. They are expensive but they fit and look better than any of the other ones she has. I have a couple pair of their running shorts and they are super comfortable as well. I don't wear tights except under my hunting clothes for warmth but if I did, I would spend the $$ on Lululemon tights.

The men’s are awesome. I work out in them. The material they make the women’s out of is something amazing though. Have I tried them on?  You bet.
