Several Months of Experiments with Female Variants
« on: May 21, 2021, 04:41:05 PM »
Introduction

Alright, so I wouldn't be posting if the results were conclusive and I just wanted to share some versions that work really well for men of female thongs because when I started I had no guide. Also, I am aware this might be against forum rules (mens thongs only), but I have a good reason to post this. If not, I can delete this. I feel like this a much needed reflection of the mens thong market but comparing with female market and seeing the discrepancies.

I have worn mens thongs for years, I got curious with some variants in the female thong market so I bought a few to see how they hold up. And I'm picky, I want good coverage, comfort on the back string and waist band, good fabrics, yet still masculine (though as the experiment went on I did go with some bright colors, but no lace).

First I bought the Balanced Tech Thong: https://www.amazon.com/Balanced-Tech-Seamless-Thong-Panties/dp/B018H2PT58/

I was drawn to the solid colors, and the reviews seemed to indicated a comfortable and stretchy design. The pouch looked big enough and at 3 for ~$16 affordable. So, I said the hell with it and bought. And it was just an amazing feel, ordering at exactly my size no problems, not restricting, smooth, great design. I could not believe it, it held the boys comfortably, great look great feel. I ended up buying more haha.

I then tried the Kalon Thong: https://www.amazon.com/Kalon-Womens-Nylon-Spandex-Underwear/dp/B07C92ZRMD

I ordered up a size so I went with XL instead of L, and really I could have been fine with L. But, still it fit well, plenty of room for the boys, good fabric, a little wide back strap which is fine, I was able to wear them all day. Amazing, another success. But of the ones I bought these were a little pricer and less comfortable of them but I still use them regularly.

Next thong was the Alyce Ives No Show Thong (I bought the Stripes): https://www.amazon.com/Alyce-Intimates-Seamless-Shadow-Assorted/dp/B07N97CP5N/

I decided to take a risk here with bright colors, and wow. Again, home run! Boys fit in the pouch back strap comfort, the waist band was a bit thicker but you know it was great actually as it gave more support mid waist. The fabric was amazing probably the best of the 3. And also the most affordable I believe each pair averages out about $2 each. The colors give a nice skip to my step in the day haha, usually im solid dark colors so it was fun to try and I rotate between all three types regularly now while throwing in mens thongs once in a while.

If you are into trying new styles (actually its a traditional thong but just it "says" women) I'd strongly recommend these.

Lessons For the Men's Thongs:

  • Better Colors Needed
  • Fabrics need to be softer
  • Everyday Thongs that women get should be priced better for men
  • Manufactures of Female Thongs, if you can alter just a little in the pouch and call it mens you got a whole market

I am just blown away but how mens and female versions are just not that different, but the female versions get better fabrics, colors and prices. Let me know your thoughts.

some guys wear womens thongs. I personally cannot fit into them but if you can go for it. You are right there are more options and styles and stuff. Men only recently have had any sort of more interesting underwear. men are not allowed to be sexy. They have to be manly. manly is sexy... I find that boring and stupid. I think the man can be sexy in any underwear so why not treat yourself. wearing boring underwear will never make you feel sexy though.... That is why thongs and all the wonderful fabrics and styles exist now.
