My wife and made our first beach trip of the year this last week. We went to East beach on Galveston Island in the morning for a few hours. We both wore thongs. Majority of the people on the beach were walking or jogging so we were a bit out of place in the sense that we were actually wearing swimsuits. I hope to make it at a more normal time for people to be out swimming. We walked quite a ways up and down the beach, encountered a fair number of people and got no trouble from anyone. Looking forward to the next outing!
